Together, We Grow the Arts in Escondido

For 66 years The Escondido Art Association has had a unique vision and mission to support, serve and promote local artists, to provide opportunities and classes for adult advancement in artistic skills and techniques and to provide education, empowerment and encouragement to young students of all ages beginning or continuing their own journey as artists.

It has been another banner year for EAA in the achievement of our vision and mission.
Here are some highlights:

✦ Over 1,000 Artworks by local artists have been submitted and displayed in our galleries this year. That’s a new record for us!
We held over 200 classes for art and creative writing for young and old artists and writers to create, express and learn about their chosen art.
✦ In November alone we have over 200 artworks by local artists in three major exhibitions running concurrently in The Grand Avenue Gallery, The North Island Credit Union Gallery and the Escondido Public Library and other locations throughout Escondido.
✦ We have awarded and provided professional Juror feedback on over 100 medal awarded and commended artworks submitted by members. We implemented a new and valuable feedback process for all artists to grow and learn from the feedback and juror insights.
✦ We staged one of the most elegant and popular summer fund raising soirees in Escondido in June at the Hidden Chateau.
✦ We have showcased the artwork of hundreds of local students of all ages and awarded scholarships and prizes to students in our Annual Kids Kaleidoscope Exhibition.
✦ We held the extraordinarily successful first ever Mayors Art Competition in Escondido with over 110 artworks submitted.

Now we need your support. We can’t make all this happen, and touch all these lives, nurture all this art and creativity in our city and community without your financial support. That is why we are launching our Year End Donation Campaign. We are a certified non-profit organization and rely on your support to make all this great art happen.
