THEME "HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP AND MINI-MASTERPIECES* *Due to the fact that this show runs concurrently with the high school scholarship Program, gallery space will be limited, and we request that mini-masterpiece art size follow guidelines: *Paintings must be no more than 10 inches on any one side (excluding frame.) Take-in: March 2, Saturday 11 – 4 PM and March 4, Monday 4 – 6 PM Reception Saturday March 9, 5 - 8 PM Art Demonstration Thursday March 14th, 2 - 4 PM at VFW Hall, 230 E. Park Ave Escondido Show ends Saturday, March 30, 2019 |
Judging the competition this year were Suzanne Nicolaisen and Robert Grant, both long-standing members of the EAA, who made their selections from among the sixty-six pieces of artwork representing seven participating Escondido high schools. All student artwork will remain on exhibit at the Artists Gallery through the end of March.
Award money to fund the Visual Arts Scholarship Program was provided once again through the generous sponsorship of Design Moe Kitchen & Bath, Grand Avenue, Escondido.
